Hi and thanks for stopping by!

We’re aren’t quite ready yet — but what website ever is? Lis and Kris are just too excited to not talk about our little baby DIYPublishing — so it seemed we needed to get this website alive.

Our aim is to inform and assist writers who want to get their book to their readers.

We are NOT a publisher — you the writer are the publisher

But we can help. We plan to offer a number of short-courses around the key learning outcomes in the self-publishing area all for writers and authors who have a (final, edited) manuscript and don’t know what to do next. We see it at a self-publishing road-map which involves subject areas including:

• what happened to the publishing industry?
• what is a quality book — and what format is appropriate
• transition from writer to writerpreneur — basically the stuff you need to know about running your own business
• marketing including defining your market, finding your market, and marketing via both offline and online techniques.

Initially we will probably do online video — we have a platform identified, but we may branch out to doing on-site courses as well. (We’re based in central Wellington).  It’s all very exciting — stay tuned! The best way to do that is to sign up for the  newsletter!
